Incident Summary:Allegation that Vikings/ El Camino violated a PAD order to not hold tryouts on an Orchard Valley field.
Comments:We do not address whether ECRFC/ Vikings followed the correct process with the school district to secure a permit to obtain the field. That is immaterial to the issue at hand. The issue at hand is whether ECRFC and Vikings violated Norcal rules by using the Sobrato and by ignoring a NorCal PAD ruling. In Incident 1341, the Norcal PAD ruled that ECRFC/ Vikings were not to use Sobrato High School for tryouts. ECRFC/ Vikings deliberately ignored this PAD ruling.
ECRFC and Vikings are placed on probation for purposefully violating a NorCal PAD order until December 31, 2015.
ECRFC/ Vikings are ordered to provide the names of all coaches who attended the tryout in question to Norcal PAD no later than noon on December 19, 2014. The coaches who participated in the tryout are suspended through June 30, 2015.
ECRFC/ Vikings are prohibited from using any Sobrato field without the permission of Orchard Valley.
