Incident Summary:During a mass confrontation, spectators from both teams entered the field.
Comments:The coach of the Santa Rosa Empire team, Gene Shioda, is suspended 4 games for failing to control his team's spectators and for ordering the Santa Rosa Empire video cameraman (who does not have a USClub pass) to enter the field. The coach of the Pajaro Valley team, Carlos Alfaro, is suspended 4 games for failing to control his team's spectators. The PAD Committee recommends that Santa Rose Empire be placed on probation until January 1, 2024. The PAD Committee recommends this length of probation because Santa Rose Empire was the home club, there were only 2 referees at the game (working a dual system which is prohibited), the video was turned off at the direction of the Santa Rosa Empire team manager, the team manager of the Santa Rose team ordered the camerman (who does not possess a pass to enter the field during the confrontation). The PAD Committee recommends that Pajaro Valley be placed on probation until July 1, 2023.
