Allegation that an Elk Grove coach attended an IR Academy game in order to recruit players. The Elk Grove coach attended the game on November 24, 2024 and was hired at Elk Grove on January 15, 2025. 3 IR Academy players were subsequently released from IR Academy at the request of Elk Grove Soccer.

The Elk Grove coach, Jimmy Gomez, is suspended 6 games - 2 for each of the players who left IR Academy at the request of Elk Grove Soccer.
