| Incident Summary: | IET set up a training program in Marin County led by the Directors of Napa United and Sonoma Valley Premier. The program was a private training program and indicated it would provide a pathway for players to move to MLS Next. The IET program has been cancelled. |
| Comments: | This was an attempt to recruit players from Marin County based NorCal clubs that did not work. However, the attempt to recruit players violates the rules set forth in the NorCal Premier Handbook. The PAD Committee refers Napa United to the Board of Directors of NorCal to determine if sanctions are appropriate. No violation is found with respect to Sonoma Valley United as Sonoma Valley United was not named as an accused club in this incident report. If AC Marin wishes to refile against Sonoma Valley Premier, it is free to do so. |
