| Comments: | There is no evidence that the coach of the ECFC-Salinas team, Guillermo Reyes, attempted to provide NorCal with evidence that he served his suspension. In fact, there is evidence that Coach Reyes in fact knew he had not procured the required Suspension Verification Form despite telling the match official that he had. As a result, Coach Reyes' existing suspension was not cleared at the time of the March 9, 2024 match. For misrepresenting that he had already served the suspension and for coaching while suspended, ECFC-Salinas coach Guillermo Reyes is suspended from coaching in all NorCal competitions for one year, until March 22, 2025. This match is declared a 3-0 forfeit in favor of Tahuichi FC.
On appeal, the suspension was reduced, to expire on July 1, 2024. |
