Incident Summary:During the match an OV Toros spectator was told by the referee to stop verbally abusing the referee. The spectator was then ejected. After the ejection, the spectator flipped off the referee and threatened the referee that he would meet him in the parking lot. The OV Toros spectators followed the referees to their cars.
Comments:The coach of the OV Toros team, Adam Clayden, is suspended 4 games for failing to control his team's spectators. 2 of the games are for failing to control the spectators during the match for the sending off of the spectator and 2 of the games are for the actions of the spectators after the match.
The PAD Committee appreciates Mr. Airem filing this report, but requests that in the future, Mr. Airem refrain from requesting suspensions. There is a Disciplinary Matrix on the NorCal Premier website that guides the lengths of suspensions, and spectators cannot be suspended by NorCal. coaches are responsible for the behavior of their spectators and are suspended in situations, like this, where spectators misbehave.
