Incident Summary:Allegation that the Stanislaus parents and coaches created a hostile environment for the players and coaches of the Fuego team and the referees.
Comments:There were many things here that happened that should not have happened:
1. Teams do not need to win games to qualify for State Cup. All teams that apply and pay are accepted to State Cup.
2. If a match does not start within 15 minutes of the start team, it is forfeited by the home team. In such a situation, a game card is not required.
3. Insulting and threatening referees, coaches and players is never acceptable.
The entire staff of this Stanislaus team (coach(es) and manager(s)) is suspended 4 games for failing to control or stop the extreme misbehavior of their spectators and for making the situation worse. The PAD Committee strongly recommends that the Stanislaus club examines this situation and institutes a club wide parent education program. The behavior here is absolutely unacceptable, and any repeat performance by this team will result in the PAD Committee recommending to the Executive Board of NorCal that this team be expelled from all NorCal competitions.
