| Incident Summary: | This consolidates Incidents 4175, 4176, 4179, 4180, 4183 and 4185. At the end of the match, a mass confrontation between the teams broke out followed by a mass confrontation amongst the spectators of the two teams occurred. After the mass confrontation amongst spectators occurred, an argument between the Ajax coach and the referee assignor occurred. |
| Comments: | This matter was referred to the NorCal Board of Directors for the imposition of sanctions upon the 2 clubs. The Board of Directors has determined the following:
1. Coach Dave De Hart of Ajax and Coach Sergio Sousa of Turlock Academica are each suspended from coaching these teams until January 1, 2022 for failing to control their teams and spectators.
2. All spectators from both teams are suspended from attending these teams games in all NorCal competitions until the end of the 2021-2022 season. Suspension Verification Forms will need to be turned in for each game the spectators do not attend. If either teams has spectators attend a game, the team having spectators attend will be expelled from all NorCal competitions for the remainder of the 2021-2022 season. |
